Neste sábado (23/11), a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Suzano realiza o “Dia D” da campanha Novembro Azul em todas as 12 Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBSs) da cidade. O evento, das 8h às 16h, terá ações voltadas à saúde dos homens, incluindo exames de PSA até o meio-dia, fundamentais para a prevenção e detecção precoce do câncer de próstata. Na manhã desta quinta-feira (21), durante patrulhamento na Rua José Antônio da Silva, em Suzano, uma equipe do Grupamento de Proteção Ambiental identificou uma gaiola com alçapão armado em uma residência. Após autorização do proprietário, foram encontrados 13 pássaros silvestres mantidos em cativeiro sem a devida documentação. Os animais foram apreendidos e a ocorrência registrada no DP Boa Vista. A Escola Municipal Lídia Lima da Silva, no Jardim Planalto, realizou na última terça-feira (19) a mostra cultural “Africanidades, nossas raízes”, celebrando a Consciência Negra.
