A Secretaria Municipal de Segurança Cidadã celebrou nesta terça-feira (19/11) a formatura de mais 150 crianças pelo Projeto Guard, iniciativa da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) que promove educação sobre cidadania e combate às drogas. A cerimônia, realizada na Escola Municipal Professor Manoel Vicente Ferreira Filho, na Vila Helena, marcou o total de 4.007 alunos formados desde 2017. Voltado para estudantes do 4º e 5º ano, o programa oferece aulas sobre respeito, disciplina, combate aos entorpecentes e cultura de paz. “Se essas crianças compartilharem as lições aprendidas, o impacto do projeto será ainda maior”, afirmou Afrânio Evaristo, secretário de Segurança.

O prefeito Rodrigo Ashiuchi participou, nesta terça-feira (19/11), da formatura de 125 alunos do Sesi de Suzano no Programa Educacional de Resistência às Drogas e à Violência (Proerd). A iniciativa, conduzida por policiais militares capacitados, visa conscientizar crianças sobre a prevenção ao uso de drogas, álcool e tabaco, além de incentivar a não violência e a cidadania. As obras que vão garantir o serviço de hemodiálise no Hospital Regional do Alto Tietê (HRAT) têm início previsto para o primeiro semestre de 2025. O anúncio foi feito pelo prefeito de Suzano, Rodrigo Ashiuchi, e pelo presidente da Alesp, deputado André do Prado, após tratativas com o governo do Estado. A unidade passará a atender até 240 pacientes renais em três turnos, podendo chegar a 320, com a instalação de 40 máquinas.
