A Secretaria Municipal de Segurança Cidadã celebrou nesta terça-feira (19/11) a formatura de mais 150 crianças pelo Projeto Guard, iniciativa da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) que promove educação sobre cidadania e combate às drogas. A cerimônia, realizada na Escola Municipal Professor Manoel Vicente Ferreira Filho, na Vila Helena, marcou o total de 4.007 alunos formados desde 2017. Voltado para estudantes do 4º e 5º ano, o programa oferece aulas sobre respeito, disciplina, combate aos entorpecentes e cultura de paz. “Se essas crianças compartilharem as lições aprendidas, o impacto do projeto será ainda maior”, afirmou Afrânio Evaristo, secretário de Segurança.
A Secretaria Municipal de Esportes e Lazer registrou a participação de 22.850 pessoas em eventos realizados ao longo de 2024. Entre os destaques estão a Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, os Jogos Escolares, a 1ª Corrida de Rua e o Campeonato Brasileiro de Tênis de Mesa. O balanço também incluiu a inauguração do Centro de Iniciação ao Esporte (CIE) Professor David Ramos Trinca e a revitalização de quadras esportivas em diversos bairros.
